"For Those Who Forgot How to Dream" Live Performance Painting — 60” x 60” Canvas
This performance painting was created live during the early days of the Curse Mackey musical project.
The canvas was laid directly on the stage — I paint poured across raw canvas then pushed, dragged, and shaped through movement, the paint, paper cuttings, the noise, and physical abrasion. Every smear, fracture, and collision of color is the result of that process. It's fascinating to look at.
This is a mixed-media, stage-born canvas, built through kinetic motion rather than traditional brushwork. It carries the energy of that moment: crimson sweeps torn open by gold, violet shadows, black ruptures, and flashes of white rising through the surface.
The piece has a companion "Revelations in Reverse" — created moments apart — but each stands fully on its own.
Only one exists.
